Tricia Psota, PhD, RDN is a trusted food and nutrition expert specializing in re-search, policy, and communications. She works as a Nutritionist at the USDA’s Center for Nutrition Policy & Promotion (CNPP) and is responsible for supporting the development of evidence-based dietary guidance and for the promotion of the Dietary Guidelines for Americans through a wide range of nutrition marketing and communication strategies. She represents CNPP on the USDA’s Food and Nutrition Consumer Services’ Nutrition Council and serves as Chair of the Policy Committee. Prior to joining USDA, Dr. Psota was the Assistant Director of Research at the Uni-formed Services University’s Center for Health Disparities and a Metabolic Clinical Research Dietitian at the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center.
